Volunteers are needed to visit with patients facing serious progressive illness, provide pet therapy visits, perform music, provide office support, make bereavement phone calls, make calls to verify patient needs before the weekend, assist in our new Thrift Store, serve as an ambassador and help with special projects. Caring Hospice is a unique, holistic and cost effective service designed to meet the social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs of their patients and families as they face terminal illness. Volunteers are needed to provide friendly visits to patients in private homes and nursing facilities, pet therapy, music therapy, make items like blankets, pillows and baked goods and office support. All volunteers receive training and continued support. Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services VNHS: Ages: 18 and over. No previous experience necessary. Orientation and training will be provided to interested volunteers. Holy Redeemer Hospice
