Police Athletic League (PAL)

Police Athletic League (PAL) works with volunteers from local police departments and adults in the community to provide quality team sports activities for student athletes.  Adult volunteers are needed for coaching and supporting parent association positions. 

  * Willingboro PAL sponsors 35 baseball teams, 4 football squads, and 4 cheerleading squads for children aged 5 to 18.  Call 609-877-73001 or 609-871-8393.

* Trenton PAL is accepting volunteers from Burlington County to work in their extensive program.  Call 609-396-0325.

YMCA of Burlington County

YMCA of Burlington County, with locations in Mount Laurel and Burlington City, has many volunteer opportunities for seniors, adults, families, and teens 15+. Departments that utilize volunteers are: childcare, sports, baby-sitting, after school care, aquatics and administrative.  The YMCA believes that an on-the-job experience will benefit the student, the community, and the Y. Pinelands Preservation Alliance seeks volunteers to attend public meetings, write advocacy letters, present educational programs, staff exhibit tables, maintain native & historic plant gardens, conduct tours of historic farmstead and other projects.  Orientation sessions are scheduled several times a year.
