Join us as we kick off Sexual Assault Awareness Month – April 2013!
Each year during the month of April thousands of individuals around the United States work together to raise public awareness about sexual violence. Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) seeks to educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence.
Volunteer with the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA) for our 5K Walk on April 6th to kick off SAAM! We are walking together and working together to raise awareness and funds to support sexual assault services and prevention efforts throughout NJ. Our SAAM 5K Walk will be the first of many events around the state working towards the end of sexual violence.
Event Details:
When – April 6, 2013 between 8am-2pm
Where – Veterans Park in Hamilton, NJ
Needs – Duties range from helping with set up, monitoring registration, food distribution, monitoring trails and water stations, assisting in clean up, and more
Together, we can work to end sexual violence against all people.

Our mission is to promote the compassionate and just treatment of survivors, their loved ones and significant others, foster collaborative relationships between community systems, and affect attitudinal and behavioral changes in society as we work toward the elimination of sexual violence against all people.
