Food Bank of South Jersey

The Food Bank of South Jersey’s mission is to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger, b providing food to needy people, teaching them to eat nutritiously, and helping them find sustainable ways to improve their lives.  Volunteer Hours are M – F 9:00 – 11:30am and 12:30 – 3pm shifts.  No walk-ins, all volunteering must be scheduled.  Jobs include: sorting, packing boxes of can goods, sorting non-foods, packing Kidz Packs and Senior bags, etc.  There are also offsite Hope Mobile and special events volunteering available.  Must be over 13 years old.  13 – 16 yr. olds must be accompanied with a parent.  New Volunteer Orientation is required and is held once per month on the 2^nd Wednesday – RSVP required.  Please contact Mike Kneble at mkneble@foodbanksj.org to schedule Orientation and then volunteering.

Christian Caring Center

Christian Caring Center, Pemberton provides emergency food and clothing, transitional housing and holiday food baskets.  Openings for board, office, counseling, fundraising, and thrift store. Volunteers (14+) are encouraged to call 609-893-0700. http://www.christiancaringcenter.org
