Quixote Quest is a teen volunteer organization where teens volunteer weekly to help disadvataged children, or children with disabilities, or senior citizens. QQ also has a special mentoring program where teens match up with a child from the cities of Camden and Trenton (transportation provided) to inspire them to ahieve more. This is a great progam for aspiring teachers.

The Food Bank of South Jersey’s mission is to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger, b providing food to needy people, teaching them to eat nutritiously, and helping them find sustainable ways to improve their lives. Volunteer Hours are M – F 9:00 – 11:30am and 12:30 – 3pm shifts. No walk-ins, all volunteering must be scheduled. Jobs include: sorting, packing boxes of can goods, sorting non-foods, packing Kidz Packs and Senior bags, etc. There are also offsite Hope Mobile and special events volunteering available. Must be over 13 years old. 13 – 16 yr. olds must be accompanied with a parent. New Volunteer Orientation is required and is held once per month on the 2nd Wednesday – RSVP required. American Red Cross- Camden County & Burlington County Chapter – 11+ – Volunteers are needed to help in Disaster Assistance and Blood Services. Volunteers in Disaster Assistance are trained and able to respond to local Disasters and assist in Shelters. Blood Services volunteers assist with Registration and Refreshments at Blood Drives; or transporting blood for processing. High School youth can participate in youth group activities and Red Cross projects. Volunteer Orientations are held monthly – to attend and learn more about opportunities in the Red Cross. The Emergency Squads of Burlington County need many additional volunteers, especially those available to respond to daytime calls during the week. EMT certification classes are offered in county.
